If we have only learned one thing thing from the recession it would be to always be prepared. As an entrepreneur your most important formula to success is to create a diversified income portfolio. No matter how great one stream is you should always be looking for something to stretch your profit margin at all times. This is something that I believe most newbie entrepreneurs fall into, is focusing too much on one thing (and by newbie I mean anything under 5 years). Nothing is forever in this world, if your not looking you loosing. As ashamed as I am, I will admit that I have fallen well into this category more than once.

Justified reasons none the less it has been a mistake, that I will never be making again. Some of you might be saying the same excuse that I had; I do not have enough time to make more than one profession work. Now if you’re thinking this then you obviously do not understand the concept of a leveraged income, and for that I am sincerely saddened. To be a truly successful entrepreneur my major criteria for prosperity is that ability to enjoy your money and wealth at the same time. Face it working 12 hours a day on your own business is the same as slaving for your boss. Saying this, there are multiple ways to leverage yourself and create multiple streams of income without working for every penny. The last thing I want or expect is for someone to try and run multiple high maintenance business, which is not diversifying, that is suicide. Investing in the stock market, metals, real estate will create a stream of income that only is created with time, not effort, as well as finding an awesome network marketing company; Network marketing is the definition of leverage. Get creative, what are you skills? For me I have decided to dip back into what is an extremely profitable investment for me which is poker. What are you doing to diversify?
