Six Flags files bankruptcy- Stock holders lose shares (is six flags a scam?)

Written By: Brandon Ray Robertson on June 20, 2009 148 Comments

Six Flags Six Flags files bankruptcy and will intern be bailed out of $1.8 Billion in debt. This Just another chapter in huge American Companies struggling during this recession, happening just weeks after GM filed Bankruptcy. From reading this article I basically have seen that the share holders will lose all stock options. Big deal right? Of course it’s a bummer, but its business there is risk and reward in business, and in this situation the risk became reality. 3 Billion in assets and 2.4 billion in debt was a pretty big loss for everyone involved with Six Flags, but guess what they’re not closing the doors they are revamping and trying again. It is a mind set That’s why I smirk when doing a presentation in my network marketing business and an individual will ask “what’s the risk? How long will it take to make money? Will this work? How much do you make? I’ve heard of companies like this folding” Or my favorite one “I had a friend who tried something like this and lost money”. Of course!! IT IS BUSINESS, I believe what makes NETWORK MARKETING so special is also its downfall; the small investment. Because of this people lose site that THIS IS A BUSINESS, just like six flags, GM or IBM. There is risk, not every company makes it. But because it’s only a few hundred $ and you don’t not have to have a degree in business, individuals seem to think it is too good to be true. Treat your business like you invested a million, and I can almost guarantee Network marketing will work for you. Now by no means do I hope you take what I’m saying the wrong way. I know money should always be taken in context. A Million to Daniel Snyder (owner of the Washington Redskins) is not that big of deal, but $1k to a single mother is everything.Just something to think about when investing your 200$ a month in your business.
